This Riad is beautiful, authentic and comfortable. It's phenomenally clean with careful attention being given to almost everything to ensure the highest standards of cleanliness... The food is good, freshly prepared and extremely reasonably priced... One of our party is Coeliac and we let them know before arrival and they couldn't do enough to ensure our guest had gluten free options and was not left out of any meals... They even went to the trouble of preparing fresh gluten free bread every time we wanted it... The rooms are traditionally decorated with the suite we stayed in having a 4 poster bed and comfortable seating area. It was tidy and spacious... The staff at the Riad helped with everything we asked of them, the concierge was always on hand to offer advice or a solution if you needed help with anything... They would happily organise taxis, trips, help with currency conversion or anything else we asked for help with... The pool was out of action for 2 of the days we stayed and the staff gave us complementary meals and massages to compensate and also arranged for the use of a nearby Riad with a pool... The pool is nice with lots of sunbeds and shade if you need it... It's obviously in the Kasbah and a 15/20 mins walk to the Medina, along busy roads and trust me, you need to have nerves of steel crossing any road as the Merakchi drive like absolute loons...!!! They don't always just stick to the roads either, so be super vigilant if you're walking to or from the Riad to anywhere...!!!
I didn’t stay here but me and my friends came here for a treatments such as facials, hamams and massages and it was great. We all loved our treatments. We came back a few times because of how good it was. The receptionist and Nora were so kind and helpful. We bought a lot of origional and authentic skincare and body care products such as tabrima powder, black soap, argon oil and more which Nora got ordered these products for the next day. We spoke to guests staying there and they loved it too. Would definitely stay here the next time I visit.
The rooms are spotless, bedding, showers and attention to detail , the little touches will bring a smile to your face. The mattresses are a little firm but we slept well in any case, surprisingly peaceful bearing in mind it is in the Medina. Location is towards the outskirts of the Medina so it is a bit of a walk to the main square but this does afford a slightly more peaceful spot. Tom, Nora and the staff are amazing, this was a surprise for my 16 year old son's coming of age and end of GCSE's exams treat and they both managed this well, it was truly appreciated what they did for us!
Amazing riad - the photos don’t do it justice. Within the medina but on the edge so away from the noise and chaos. The property is stunning and the rooms are extremely clean. The staff were wonderful - super helpful and welcoming. An absolutely gem and we wished we could have stayed longer.
Les Borjs de la Kasbah is a truly special place that immediately makes you feel at home. From the moment we arrived, the warmth and friendliness were unmistakable. Nora and Tom are the perfect hosts—attentive, genuine, and always making sure every detail is just right. What really stood out was the incredible team. Every member of staff went above and beyond to create a welcoming, personal atmosphere. We felt like we were being looked after by people who genuinely care. The whole experience was relaxed, and full of thoughtful touches that made it unforgettable. I would highly recommend this beautiful riad to anyone looking for comfort and charm.
