This is the very best place to stay in Marrakech. The host, Soufyane, was exceptional. He showed us genuine hospitality, was responsive and helpful, always giving us recommendations and tips about the city. The breakfasts each morning have truly been one of the highlights of our trip. The riad was incredibly clean and nice, cool with air conditioning, and incredibly beautiful. The location was great: walking distance from many points of interest, including the heart of the old city. Also felt very safe and private in the riad. Far better than staying in the New City, as it felt authentic. Overall, it was an incredibly clean and beautiful riad, with the hospitality from the host making this one of my most memorable stays ever. Soufyane, thank you for an incredible stay!
I must say i was surprised by this place. It is a modest riad located to the north side of the medina around 18 minute walk to the main souks and is surrounded by convenience stores and a pharmacy. Additionally the view from the terrace at sunset really highlights the beauty of Marrakech. Special shoutout to sufyane the GOAT a real nice and honest host who is always down for a cheeky fag and a nice conversation with a team of hard working ladies who make a fantastic moroccan style breakfast everyday and who clean the rooms and riad thoroughly. It is worth the money and i would love to stay here again. Again the core thing that differentiates this riad from most is the kindest and funniest host sufyane. Definitely come check this place out!
Fantastic stay at Riad 111, from the moment we arrived Sufyane was very attentive, he helped with tips on places to visit and pinning them onto my google maps which was so helpful as the Souks are a complete maze. Breakfast was delicious every day, room was authentic, very pretty and comfortable with AC. Location may seem intimidating at first but the beauty of a Riad is once youre inside its like another world and very peaceful. The local people in this area were all friendly and the local shop keeper always greeted us with a smile. Sufyane was the star of the show though, thank you for looking after us so well.
The hotel is relatively close to the market and a lot of other tourist objectives (15-45 minute walk depending on what you want to visit). Me and my fiancée had a great time there, Sufyane and the rest of the team were amazing, we felt very welcomed! We were informed about what to look out for, and Sufyane arranged our airport trasfer, making everything very smooth and easy for us. The breckfast was good, the room was cozy and quiet (besides the calls to prayer, which are to be expected next to a mosque), and overall we had a great stay. It is not a luxurious place, but it is good value for money, and I would recommend it to anyone!
