I’ve recently come back home with my partner after being in tikida garden for 7 nights. The staff are absolutely amazing. Extremely friendly, always willing to help, amazing at ensuring you are treated with the best at all times. The cleaner was lovely, always gave a smile and always asked how our day was so far when we had seen her. The bar staff are extremely friendly also. I couldn’t fault the stay with tikida garden (even if I tried). Myself and my partner would 100% plan to be coming back and staying for longer as the atmosphere is just out of this world. The entertainment was always given 100%, the pool activities were extremely fun to watch and take part in, as well as having everything in perfect access to where we were. The use of the app helped us navigate day in and day out to understand what was going on that day/evening. Which meant we were always in the loop on day-to-day runnings. We left the hotel feeling completely rejuvenated, and felt the whole experience of this holiday was truly worth every penny spent (including some tips for staff who were extremely helpful - we wanted to give as much as we could).
My husband and I have just come back from our holiday. We did enjoy our stay at this hotel. The service of staff is excellent, staff are so helpful and will make sure that you are okay. One of the service staff Ismail was lovely and it was a pleasure to meet him. We enjoyed the massages from the spa they were so relaxing. The spa staff were also lovely too. There are a lot of services the spa provides, however to use the spa-pool, sauna and steam room there is a charge of 130 dirrims for half a day but the staff provide you with everything you need for it. The food was okay but by day 4 we were getting sick/bored of the food as we found it to be repetitive and a lack of vegetarian options. We know we can mix it up and change what we eat but it just pretty much felt the same for every meal even when switching up the different foods available. The food was ok but we did end up having 2 nights in McDonald's which is just up the road from the hotel. The hotel offers a free shuttle bus to the main town centre that will drop and pick you up. We loved the pool area, we used the quiet pool throughout our stay and found it relaxing but the only issue is once you had got drinks there were wasps all over them and it was off putting. Beds do get taken up but you will be able to find spaces. Our room was spacious and clean, towels are provided. We also tried the a la carte one night. It was okay but I feel more options could have been provided.
This was my second stay at RIU Tikkida Garden, and somehow it was even better than the first. After visiting twice, I can confidently say this is one of the best all-inclusive hotels I’ve stayed at. The service is genuinely outstanding. Every member of staff goes above and beyond to make sure you have everything you need, and nothing ever feels like too much trouble. A special thank you has to go to Abdelattif, who was absolutely fantastic with me and my family. Every single meal, every day, he greeted us with a smile, made sure we were looked after, and really made us feel welcome. Staff like him are a huge reason we’ll keep coming back. The food was another highlight. Everything was incredibly fresh, full of flavour, and there was plenty of variety throughout our stay. Every meal was something to look forward to. The hotel itself is the perfect size—not so big that it feels overcrowded, but with everything you could want. It’s beautifully decorated, very clean, and has a lovely, relaxing atmosphere throughout. Thank you to everyone at RIU Tikkida Garden for another unforgettable holiday. We’ll definitely be back for a third visit!
Overall, we had a mixed experience at this resort. There were definitely some excellent parts of the stay, but also a few disappointing issues that stopped it from matching the standard we have experienced at other TUI BLUE resorts. The pool areas were fantastic and one of the highlights of the holiday. There were generally no issues getting a sun lounger, although the pool beds were a different story, if you wanted one, you had to be down very early. I’m usually awake around 6am, and even then most of them were already “reserved” with towels, despite no one actually being there. Our room was spacious, we had a suite with a balcony and the staff throughout the resort were friendly and welcoming. The spa was also excellent and well worth visiting. A special mention has to go to the lady making the flatbreads at breakfast, who was absolutely lovely; my wife ended up calling her our “Moroccan mum”. Unfortunately, the food was the biggest disappointment. We have stayed at two other TUI BLUE resorts, in Cape Verde and Tunisia, and the food at both was excellent — varied, flavorful and something we looked forward to each day. Here, it really did not meet that same standard. Breakfast was fine, but the rest of the meals felt repetitive and lacking in flavour. My wife is vegetarian and ended up eating the same pizza and salad most days, which was frustrating. In the end, we started booking lunches and dinners outside the resort and also ordered a few takeaways. We noticed other guests doing the same, with plenty of people walking around with takeaway bags from nearby restaurants and chains. The reserving of pool beds was also annoying, especially as there are signs clearly saying that this is not allowed. The air conditioning in our room was another issue; it was not working properly and we had to complain a few times before anything was done. The Wi-Fi also did not reach the pool area, which may not matter to everyone, but I like listening to podcasts while away and had to download everything in the room first, which took a long time. There were also a few practical things in the room that could be improved. There were only two wall plugs, one on each side of the bed, and it would have been useful to have one near the TV. I know that may sound minor, but we like having the TV on while getting ready in the evenings, and the available channels were mainly Russian or Italian. The shower pressure was also very poor. Overall, there are definitely positives here — especially the pool area, the spa, the room size and the staff, but the food, air conditioning, Wi-Fi and room facilities let the experience down. Based on our stay, I would say this resort has potential, but it did not quite live up to the standard we expected from TUI BLUE.
Only arrived last night so still finding our way around the hotel. The food has been good so far, you need to find the drink that suits you. The best tasting so far has been the Mojito. Very chill, relaxed feel about the hotel, helps that it's adults only. Little pool by the pool bar has a lovely vibe, people drinking while relaxing in the pool. Great mix of people, young and older all enjoying the Sun.
