This Day of Arts workshop, organized by the arts and culture institute, is a unique cultural immersion into Moroccan arts and traditions. The day is packed with four different workshops, each offering a unique experience. Starting at 10:00 AM, the day opens with a Painting Workshop that lasts for 1.5 hours. Here, participants will get a chance to dive into the rich palette of Moroccan art, guided by expert resident artists. This workshop is an invitation to unleash your creativity, whether you're a skilled artist or a novice eager to learn. Following the painting session, participants are introduced to the intricacies of Arabic calligraphy in a 1.5-hour Calligraphy Workshop. The fluidity and grace of Arabic script are unraveled, and each participant will have the opportunity to write their name in this ancient and respected art form. The afternoon begins with a culinary journey in the Cooking Workshop starting at 2:00 PM. Lasting for 2 hours, this workshop introduces participants to the flavorsome world of Moroccan cuisine. Under the guidance of skilled cooks, participants will learn how to prepare a traditional Moroccan tagine, a rich and aromatic dish that is a hallmark of Moroccan gastronomy. The best part is the meal prepared during the workshop will be enjoyed by participants, making the experience not only educational but also delicious. The day wraps up with a captivating Moroccan Percussion Workshop. Over the course of 1.5 hours, participants will learn about and play traditional Moroccan percussion instruments like the Taarija and Bendir. This session provides a rhythmic finale to the day, immersing participants in the lively beat of Moroccan music.
