Explore the High Atlas Mountains on a full-day tour from Marrakech. Learn about Berber culture as you relax with a glass of traditional tea, ride a camel through the desert, and take in the rugged scenery of the Agafay Desert. Begin your adventure with pickup from your hotel in Marrakech or the closest accessible point to your accommodation. Head south towards the vast Agafay Desert, admiring the changing landscape along the way as the city gives way to luscious greenery. Arrive at the large village of Imlil located at the foot of the High Atlas Mountains before passing through the Kik Plateau. Next, embark on a 30-minute camel ride. After your ride, enjoy a relaxing tea break and learn about local Berber traditions, history, and way of life. Pass through several Berber villages on your way to the Amizmiz Valley. Stop at Tinirt Village for lunch at a traditional Berber house. After lunch, continue to the Great Plain of Haouz, passing through the village of Ouled Mataa.
