Description

Day 1: Marrakech to Zagora Depart from Marrakech and ascend into the High Atlas Mountains, glimpsing Berber villages along the way. Visit the 11th-century UNESCO site, Ait Benhaddou Kasbah, before heading to Ouarzazate, Africa's 'Hollywood.' Continue to Morocco's longest valley, the Draa Valley, arriving in Zagora to explore Almoravide fortress remains. Overnight at a local hotel with dinner. Day 2: Zagora to Chigaga Dunes Drive along the Draa River to Tamegroute, home to an ancient library. Proceed to Mhamid village and then on to Erg Chigaga dunes. Experience a breathtaking sunset camel trek to your nomadic camp, where you'll enjoy music under the stars. Day 3: Chigaga to Marrakech Rise early for sunrise and breakfast before heading to the dried Iriki Lake, once a haven for birds. Pass through Foum-Zguid and stop in Tazenakht, known for its carpets. Drive through Berber villages, ending your tour back in Marrakech.
