Description

Your day will begin when you meet with your driver by the Cafe of Hotel Ali, situated near the post office at Jamaa Elfna Square. From here, you will drive towards the Toubkal National Park. after 40min drive from Marrakech, you will be welcomed in women managed local craft cooperative. Here you will have some free tea and discver the local products made by these ladies. afterwards drive to Imlil where you will meet with your mountain guide and have some mint tea before heading out to walk. Start the walk from the center of Imlil up to the Ait Souka Village. Here you will discover nice views towards Mount Toubkal, which at 4,167 meters is the highest peak in North Africa and is considered one of the best trekking locations in Morocco. Pass the villages of Tamaterte, Targa Imoula, and Achain. The trail will reach its highest point in Imlil (2,000 meters), from where you will receive a fantastic view of all of the Imlil villages. In the early afternoon, be welcomed into a Berber local family to have your lunch on a beautiful roof terrace with picturesque views over the mountains and farms of walnuts, cherries, and apples. Meet your driver and drive back to Asni village to do a 30min camel experience before you continue to Marrakech, where you will be dropped off at your accommodation.
