I recently stayed at Le Riad Monceau with my family, and I can't say enough great things about our experience. From the moment we arrived, the customer service was outstanding from beginning to end. Everyone made us feel so welcome, and it truly felt like they cared about making our stay as enjoyable as possible. A special shout-out to Mohamed! He was always happy to answer our questions, shared great information about the neighborhood, and took the time to give a few of us a tour of the riad. Unfortunately, our itinerary was so jam-packed that we never had the chance to enjoy the rooftop for drinks or a meal, but I really appreciated him showing us around and explaining everything. Soufiane was just as great - always friendly, attentive, and ready to help whenever we needed anything. Najib also made a point of checking in with us to make sure we were doing well and reminded us to let him know if there was anything we needed. I'd also like to mention Marwa, who was always so pleasant and welcoming. Honestly, everyone we met at the riad, from the servers to the housekeeping staff, was incredibly kind and friendly. The riad is beautiful, charming, peaceful, and feels like a little oasis in the middle of the busy streets of Marrakech. After a full day of sightseeing, it was the perfect place to come back to and relax. The live jazz in the evenings was such a nice touch and created a wonderful atmosphere. On our first night, my sisters and I had dinner at the riad, and everything we ordered was delicious. Breakfast each morning was just as enjoyable, with a wonderful selection of fresh baked goods, freshly squeezed orange juice, and so many other delicious options. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and the perfect way to start the day. Overall, Le Riad Monceau exceeded our expectations. The beautiful property, incredible food, and, most importantly, the kindness and genuine hospitality of the staff made our stay unforgettable. We left with wonderful memories, and it was hard to say goodbye after only a few days. If you're visiting Marrakech, I highly recommend staying here - you won't be disappointed! Shukran bzaf!
My time at Le Riad Monceau was beyond fantastic. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted by Safian (spelling might be incorrect) and Muhammad (spelling might be incorrect). Both were incredibly helpful and accommodating. We were a group of 6 people and had book 3 rooms with a queen size bed. While the rooms can be a tad bit tight, I wouldn't particularly worry too much about it because how often are you spending hours during the day in the hotel room? The rooms themselves were very clean, cute and culturally representative of Morocco/Marrakech. It being our first time in both Morocco and Marrakech, we truly loved the Riad and the entire staff. The breakfast was also fantastic! It was light but still filling. With eggs however you'd like them, a croissant, the best orange juice your lips have tasted, fresh fruit, dates/almonds, bread...it really was a spread! My family did have dinner at the restaurant the first night and they also mentioned the food was extremely tasty and flavorful. The jazz nights are also a highlight! I know some other reviewers mentioned that it can be loud. While that can be true, it's usually amazing music to fall asleep soon. I think they're finished around 11pm? I know that if I come back to Marrakech, I won't even bother looking for another place to stay. I'll come back to Riad Monceau because between the hospitality, quality, and experience, you really can't get any better than this.
Gorgeous riad with beautiful rooms, delicious included breakfast, and live music each night! Very close to the heart of the medina so it was a very convenient location as well. Only mishap was we tried to eat here for dinner, but they were so busy they did not attend to us for quite some time (even after trying to flag them down) so we ended up just going to bed instead.
My girlfriend and I booked this hotel very last minute after a bit of a nightmare arrival in Marrakech, and we couldn’t have been more grateful for the warm welcome we received. The staff immediately offered us refreshments and made us feel completely at ease. Throughout our stay, everyone went above and beyond to make us feel at home. Our room was spotless every single day, and breakfast each morning was absolutely delicious. While the restaurant was a little out of our price range (however much the menu tempted us), the rooftop bar offered us everything we needed - such a great atmosphere, and every member of staff there was friendly and attentive. I honestly can’t recommend this hotel enough. It completely turned our trip around and made our short stay in Marrakech really special. Thank you again to the whole team! Stephen & Eve
We had the pleasure of spending four nights at Riad Monceau in Marrakech and truly loved our stay. We stayed as a couple with breakfast and dinner included. Our room “Calif” was beautiful, elegant and very comfortable. The entire riad feels like a peaceful oasis in the middle of the Medina. What made the experience truly special was the staff. Everyone was incredibly warm, attentive and welcoming. The team takes time to chat with guests, gives inspiring recommendations for the city and helps with anything you might need. The food at Bistro Arabe was also outstanding – every dinner was a delight. The weather in early April was a bit cooler than expected and there was some rain, but Marrakech was still absolutely worth visiting. Returning to the calm and beautiful atmosphere of the riad after exploring the city made it even more enjoyable. For us it is clearly 5 stars for the room, the staff and the cuisine. We would love to come back one day.
