I had a very disappointing stay at this riad and would not recommend it. I was allocated a ground floor room with virtually no ventilation. The air felt stale and uncomfortable, and my eyes were actually burning during the stay. There was no air conditioning, and the only window opened into the internal courtyard, which meant we couldn’t keep it open for privacy—making the situation even worse. The location of the room was also problematic. It was right by the entrance, which is shared with the restaurant, so there was constant noise and music playing late into the night. Getting proper rest was difficult. Hygiene was another serious concern. While the linens and towels seemed clean, the rest of the room was not well maintained. There were visible signs of mold in the bathroom, especially on the wooden towel holder, and small insects were present on the wooden fixtures in both the bathroom and the room. This was quite alarming. Service was also lacking. I had requested a packed breakfast the night before due to an early departure and was told it would be ready at reception. However, nothing was prepared when I left. Considering the price (around €90 per night), this stay felt like very poor value for money. Overall, the experience was uncomfortable and disappointing, and I would strongly advise others to look elsewhere.
We had a lovely experience in this hotel. The breakfast was amazing and very filling, we often didn’t need to eat again till the evening. Very beautiful and cleaning was very good too. The staff was amazing I especially loved Fouad. Sometimes there was smell from drainage but they were very helpful to give candles to help it. Recommend highly
Excellent location, very friendly staff, good cleaning service. Very comfortable bed. Daily breakfast. Nice rooftop with night time music and typical dishes. The only minus point I would give is the common bathroom and shower, although the cleaning happena often. For the price, location and service, this is one od the best choices in central medina. Walking everywhere. Easy to find from the main square. Thanks!
The room was really beautiful and clean. Showers and toilets are OK. But that breakfast? WOW! Best we’ve had in all of Marocco. Everything was so fresh and tasty, definitely would go again 😋
