Very good experience overall. We had a pack of procedures for two and spent a total of three hours in the spa. I only didn't like that we were rushed through the hamam as if on a conveyor belt, but the rest of the experience was excellent.
We had a great experience at this traditional hammam. It was a little tricky to find (like most places tucked into the small streets), but definitely worth it. We did both the hammam and massage, and I highly recommend doing the full experience. The space was very clean, with a nice blend of traditional Moroccan decor and modern touches. When you arrive, they serve you tea, then you change into a robe and store your belongings in a locked cabinet. From there, you’re guided through the hammam, followed by tea and cookies, and then your massage. I went in not really knowing what to expect. We didn’t ask many questions, so each step was a bit of a surprise! We booked for two (my friend and me) and were placed in the same room. It was totally fine since we’re best friends, but if you’d prefer more privacy, be sure to request separate rooms in advance! Overall, such a calming and unique experience. I would definitely go back!
I've wanted to experience a hammam for ages, and this place was simply amazing! I'd known what to expect from doing some research, but I was *not* prepared to see all the exfoliated skin that was scrubbed off. These ladies are absolute pros and I felt very comfortable in their hands, literally. Hanane was in charge of my facial and she was wonderful. (I'm sorry I didn't note everyone's names, they were all fantastic.) We were there for three and a half hours and simply oozed out, totally relaxed and shiny clean. You're given a tiny paper undergarment to wear, then you enter the first part of the spa - wet down, soaped up, and scrubbed ('gommage') to within an inch of your life. Then it's a bit of relaxing, after which you're taken to an intermediate room for a biscuit and mint water. Then it's off to the massage room, where your muscles are pounded and smoothed. Finally the facial cleaned all the desert sand I'd built up over a few days. One bit of advice - the facial includes a fabulous scalp massage, but I came out looking more like Alfalfa from 'Little Rascals' than I liked, so be prepared with a scarf to cover up until you can rinse things out. I know there are several highly-rated hammams in the area, but I'm so happy we came here. Cannot recommend highly enough!
